The Jarvis Lounge

I’ve seen a number of bands this year, some more than once. Topping that list is The Janks (https://www.facebook.com/thejanksband), one of my favorite live discoveries. Having seen them four times at different venues (The Wayfarer, The Echo, Make Music Pasadena), I can say that they are the awesome combination of crazy sexy hard rock energy, and solid musicianship. If you’re good, they may even throw in a Zep cover for good measure. Fronted by two brothers (Dylan and Zachary), they also bring the charm. Check them out at their EP Release Show on Thursday November 13 at the Bootleg Theater. You will not be disappointed.
