So what’s new in music?

Kendrick Lamar’s album was accidentally released a week early, so you may have seen it on iTunes. As I type this, it’s still on Spotify, so stream away if you have it.

I’m digging the vibe that Pharrell adds to Snoop’s new single, “Peaches and Cream.” Cannot wait to see him in May!

I recently downloaded the KCRW app, which is great since it lets you see the song titles/artists as they play, and allows you to “favorite” them. Here are some new cuts to look for:

Cheerleader – “The Sunshine of Your Youth” (I’m catching them May 24th at Federal Bar in NoHo, as part of Mimosa Music Series).

Death Cab for Cutie – “The Ghosts of Beverly Drive” (“No Room in Frame” is also good. The new album is looking solid.)
