- Glastonbury lineup is out (most of it)
Glastonbury released the bulk of their lineup early Thursday morning, led by Dua Lipa, Coldplay, SZA, and Shania Twain. The reactions have been mixed, as the general consensus continues that festival lineups are weaker this year. Even so, tickets sold out long before the lineup release, as the festival continues to be one of the largest in the world. There’s plenty to like about this lineup, including LCD Soundsystem, Little Simz, PJ Harvey, and Jamie xx. And I’m still salty that Dua Lipa is not headlining Coachella with her new album release on May 3. You can still try for tickets that come up for resale here.
- Justin Timberlake plays Wiltern, reunites *NSYNC
Justin Timberlake had a one-off set at LA’s Wiltern on Wednesday night, featuring a reunion of his ex-bandmates. The other four members of *NSYNC joined him for a handful of songs, including “It’s Gonna Be Me” (a whole month early). Aside from an award show appearance last year, it was the first time in almost a decade since all five performed together. Also, Tobe Nwigwe made an appearance for their collaboration (told you all to keep an eye on him after last year’s Coachella appearance).
